Dr Maureen Tan is an experienced specialist in Paediatrics and Child Health. She offers care and services in a wide range of general paediatrics and developmental conditions. She has particular interests in supporting children with ADHD and learning challenges.
Dr Tan obtained her Fellowship in General Paediatrics with The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) following her post graduate training in Victoria and Queensland.
Dr Tan prides herself on working as a team with families and young people, ensuring concerns are heard and addressed. She takes an evidence-based approach to diagnosis, treatment, and management. Dr Tan emphasises on providing family-centred patient education which often makes the greatest difference in the outcome of care. As a parent of two young girls, she recognises and empathises with the challenges in modern parenting.
Dr Tan has vast experience in supporting families from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She converses fluently in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa.
In her spare time, she enjoys bonding and having fun with her daughters and occasionally baking and cake decorating. Her favourite feel-good activities are outdoor adventures, table tennis and running.
