MyPaeds Specialist Clinic.
Dr Emily Tinniswood is a Brisbane-born general paediatrician who provides family

the diagnosis and management of a broad range of developmental and medical
conditions, from everyday health concerns to more complex, long-term needs.

is especially committed to supporting gender-diverse and neurodiverse children,
advocating for equitable access to healthcare, and proudly stands as a LBGTQIA ally.
Approachable, empathetic, and grounded in evidence-based practice, Dr Emily aims
to create a space where families feel supported—and where children can thrive.
Dr Emily completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and her
specialist training across metropolitan, outer metropolitan, and rural Queensland. She
achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and is a member
of the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics.
Outside of work, Dr Emily enjoys life in Brisbane with her young daughter and family.
She loves tabletop gaming, musicals, and is currently learning how to ride a bike—
because it’s never too late to learn something new.
