Dr Andrew (Siu Hei) Law is an independent clinician providing services to patients from MyPaeds Specialist Clinic.
Dr Andrew Law is a specialist Paediatrician who is friendly, empathetic, and down-to-earth. Andrew loves working with children of all ages – from babies to adolescents – and their families. He welcomes all new referrals and will support you and your child to promote health, quality of life, growth, and development.
Andrew has had extensive training in Paediatrics and Child Health. It started back in Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne as a postgraduate medical trainee of University of Melbourne. He then pursued further specialist paediatric training in Queensland across various sites including Queensland Children’s Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, Gold Coast Health Child Development Service, Pindara Private Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital, Logan Hospital, and Toowoomba Hospital. He is a well-rounded Paediatrician with valuable experiences across General Paediatrics, Developmental Paediatrics, Neonatology, Adolescent and Young Adult Health, Perinatal Mother and Infant Mental Health, Paediatric Rheumatology, and Paediatric Oncology.
Andrew is also a lecturer at Griffith University School of Medicine and has been involved in teaching at Bond University Medical School. Moreover, Andrew is actively involved in research in Paediatrics and Child Health.
Outside of work, Andrew likes to relax and recharge with his wife, young baby, and cavoodle at cafes and parks in Brisbane. On more extended time off, you might find him travelling the world or camping with family and friends in Queensland. Andrew is a true Brisbane local having been born and raised here. He can speak fluent Cantonese as well. He truly understands the importance of being culturally aware and sensitive.
