Dr Pui Fun Lee is an independent clinician providing services to patients from
MyPaeds Specialist Clinic.
Dr Pui Fun Lee is a dedicated General Paediatrician committed to delivering high-quality, family-centred care for children from birth through adolescence. She integrates evidence-based medicine with a thoughtful, holistic approach, and with a strong emphasis on clear communication and fostering trusted relationships with families.
Dr Lee graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She completed a Diploma in Child Health through Sydney Children’s Hospital and attained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics and Child Health, reflecting her advanced specialist training and commitment to clinical excellence.
With over a decade of medical experience and paediatric training, Dr Lee has worked across several Queensland hospitals, including Queensland Children’s Hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Units at both the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Mater Hospital, as well as paediatric units across other regional hospitals in Queensland. This breadth of experience has equipped her with a strong clinical foundation in both acute and developmental paediatrics.
Her clinical interests include newborn and infant care, developmental paediatrics, and general child health. She is passionate about supporting families through the early years, providing personalised and practical guidance to help children thrive.
Having grown up in a multicultural society in Malaysia, Dr Lee values culturally sensitive care and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, enabling her to connect with families from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr Lee enjoys creative pursuits such as polymer clay art, gardening, and has recently developed an interest in baking. She also finds great joy in spending time with her young nephew and niece. She is actively involved in community service through her local church’s Food Pantry initiative, supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
