Dr Su Lynn Yoong is an independent clinician providing services to patients from MyPaeds Specialist Clinic.
Dr Su Lynn Yoong is a committed general paediatrician with a strong focus on children’s health and development. She offers expert care in both physical and developmental concerns, delivering thorough assessment and management across a wide range of paediatric conditions. Dr Yoong collaborates closely with families to promote their children’s overall health and well-being. She has a special interest in the care of newborns, infants, and developmental paediatrics.
Dr Yoong earned her medical qualifications from the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Studies and a Doctor of Medicine (BMed MD). Following her specialist training, She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics and Child Health, recognising her commitment to excellence in paediatric care.
Her paediatric training was shaped by diverse clinical experiences across Queensland, including both metropolitan and regional hospitals such as Townsville Hospital, Logan Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital, Hervey Bay Hospital, and Toowoomba Hospital. She also undertook focused neonatology training in the neonatal units at Townsville Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Dr Yoong’s passion for paediatrics is fuelled by her enjoyment of working with children, whose energy and curiosity inspire her daily. She is deeply fulfilled by her role in supporting young patients and their families, striving always to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
